We are working with a company that needs a talented process chemist at the research associate (non PhD) level to perform bench scale experiments (g to kg), use various pumps, acid-base chemistry, solvent evaporation, centrifugation, etc. and record data. This position offers excellent personal growth opportunities for the right candidate.

Qualifications: The successful candidate will have 1-4 years experience in a chemical processing environment, preferably performing extractions or related experiments. Experience degumming, bleaching, performing hydrolysis reactions, deodorization, and/or vacuum distillations is a big plus. This is a highly collaborative position therefore excellent communication skills are essential. Must be authorized to work in the US and be in the San Diego area as relocation assistance is not available.
