The Chemist's Perspective

The author of this blog is Steve Brough and here's a little bit about him in his own words:

"Hello and welcome to 'The Chemist's Perspective', a blog which will hopefully provide a regular overview of interesting topics in the field of synthetic chemistry, some light entertainment and useful chemistry links I may come accross.

My name is Steve Brough, I have worked for many years in the Pharmaceutical industry as a Synthetic Chemist until joining the Asynt team earlier this year. It's fair to say that it has been a steep learning curve but one that has been enjoyable, some key learnings have been:

Don't drink too much coffee, you can never find a gents when you really need one!
Don't leave your Stockholm hotel booking until the last minute on the evening Sweden are playing Holland in a vital Euro 2012 qualifier.
Don't leave your laptop at a customer site in Slough, it's a long drive back from the Midlands!"
